Let’s explore the unseen force that shapes your reality: the game of energy exchange and willingly or not, you are a player. Whether you’re aware of it or happily uninformed, you are constantly giving away your energy and it’s affecting your body, mind, and spirit. But what happens when you start to take it back? How does fear, death, and your past memories play a role in this energetic dance? The harsh truth is that as conscious as you are, you will forever exchange your energy just by existing, so why not become aware of the processes and do so preferably for the things that genuinely matter to you, and ultimately for the good of humanity. Through understanding, you can uncover tools to reclaim or redirect your energy and live a more aligned, empowered life.

Energy Leaks: Understanding How Your Energy is Drained

Let’s start with energy leaks. We’ve all felt mentally drained after a long day, or overwhelmed by emotions that seem to come out of nowhere. The truth is, every thought, every emotional reaction, and every unresolved memory contributes to your energy levels—either increasing or most likely depleting them. When you’re not consciously aware of where your energy is going, it leaks out in small, subtle ways. Think about a memory that still triggers you. That old wound or unresolved conflict doesn’t just stay in the past—it actively pulls your energy from the present moment.

When aren’t consciously aware of this process, your body if forced to bring your attention to it in other ways and responds to these energetic leaks by manifesting physical symptoms: fatigue, anxiety, headaches, or even chronic pain. Think it’s ‘just how it is’? It could be, but here’s the catch: if you don’t take responsibility for these leaks, they will continue to drain you, causing stress and confusion that can impact your health, relationships, and overall well-being.

But the good news is that once you become aware of these leaks, you can start plugging them. By addressing these unresolved emotions, shifting your focus, and setting boundaries around where your energy goes, you can reclaim your power and live with more vitality. Easier said than done though, right?

The seeds of awareness are already planted, within simple acts like reading a post like this. Perhaps next time instead of instantly reacting to a trigger, those seeds allow you a 2 second reset to plan your response rather than unconsciously project your energy. Those few seconds just helped you reclaim more power than you know. Sure you’ll still use energy but by switching ‘unconscious to intentional’ alters the formula of this process and how much energy you divert to the subject at hand.

Becoming aware of energetics however, leads you to the understanding that you are eternally exchanging your energy. That perfume of the savvy lady that got your attention on your grocery store trip? You exchanged energy for that too. Whatever gets your attention – big or small, good or bad – is where your energy flows. This point I’m bringing to your attention now is that you can tune into the leaks that most people aren’t even aware of and in turn maximise your impact and magnetism in this dimension, and beyond. Knowing this, did you just become aware that we too now share an energetic connection? It can become mind boggling when you really start tuning in to it, trust me.

Fear as a Teacher: Embracing What You Resist

Next, let’s talk about fear. For many of us, fear is something we run away from. It’s uncomfortable, and we’re taught to avoid it at all costs. But what if I told you that fear isn’t the enemy? In fact, fear is one of the most powerful teachers you have.

Fear exists to grab your attention and highlight something that’s either unresolved or misperceived. Fear is an evolutionary mechanism, part of our survivalist toolkit but it doesn’t always serve you as well as expected. Or rather not the fear itself, but our learned behavioural responses. Think of fear as an alarm bell—when it goes off, it’s pointing to something important, something that needs your focus. It could be an old memory, an unhealed trauma, or even an area of your life where you’re resisting change.

What’s key here is that the level of fear you experience directly correlates to the importance of the lesson you need to learn. Most people, when confronted with fear, stop looking deeper. They shut down or avoid the feeling altogether. But if you choose to sit with your fear and explore it, you’ll uncover hidden lessons that can bring about profound transformation.

So the next time fear arises, instead of running from it, ask yourself: What is this fear trying to show me? What’s really behind this feeling, and why does it have such a powerful grip on me? You’ll find that fear can be a guiding light, leading you toward growth and personal evolution.

Death as an Allie: Reframing the End

Now, let’s touch on something that many of us avoid: death. It’s a topic that scares most people, and for good reason – our survival instincts are wired to keep us alive. But here’s a different perspective: Death is not the enemy. In fact, death can be one of your greatest allies in this journey we call life.

Death is an inevitable part of life for the processes of Life and Death are not separate things. Death isn’t something to fear, but something to embrace. Death, in its many forms, is not just about physical ending, but a powerful teacher of endings and beginnings. It’s about transformation. You have the opportunity in life to learn about, learn from and partner with both the process of death and the energetic current or personification of Death as an entity – my witchy readers may already do exactly that!

When you connect with the energy of death, you’re not just preparing for the end; you’re understanding that with every ending comes a new beginning. Just as plants must die in the winter to make way for new growth in the spring, we too must let go of old patterns, beliefs, and attachments in order to evolve.

When you can embrace death as an Allie, you start to see every experience as an opportunity to transform. Fear of death or change loses its grip on you, because you understand that it’s simply part of the cycle. By accepting death’s role in your life, you gain the freedom to live fully, knowing that nothing truly ends; it simply transforms.

Interesting side note: on most social media platforms, saying Death can get you censored, either leading to usage restriction, account bands or algorithm driven time-outs to not distribute your content. You’ve probably noticed people saying things like ‘unalived’ and it’s to skirt around this penalty factor. Do you find it “coincidental” that right at the peak of a new era of consciousness there is a systematic repression of literally one of the most natural things?

It’s not because that word might be triggering, in fact that statement highlights another problem with where we are at on a collective level. Socially, we have reached a total disconnect with the natural currents of the biological system. Many beings, like myself are consciously making efforts to reacquaint people with that. It’s hard for content creator who speak about mystical topics and spiritual awakening to not talk about the Ego Death, Ego Unaliving just isn’t as catchy! Perhaps that a motivating factor to this suppression campaign, is discouraging conversations that support the collective evolution of people through education and awareness. Just something to think on.

Emotional Charge: The Power of Your Emotions

Finally, let’s talk about emotional charge—the energy behind your emotions and how it affects your physical body. Emotions are powerful; they carry a frequency that can either help or harm your system. When you experience intense emotional reactions—anger, anxiety, sadness—they create a chemical response in your body that impacts your health.

For instance, prolonged anger can lead to high blood pressure, while unresolved grief can manifest as chronic pain or digestive issues. This is because emotions are not just feelings—they are energy in motion, and they hold power over your physical and mental state.

What’s key here is that your emotions are not inherently ‘bad’ or ‘good.’ They are simply signals. I’ve posted recently how you can learn to harness extreme emotions like anger, particularly from an Occultist perspective in my post Harnessing the power of your anger, consciously.

When you feel a strong emotional charge, it’s a call to pay attention, to process, and to clear whatever might be blocking you. The more you suppress or ignore these emotions, the more they build up and eventually manifest as physical symptoms. Every physical symptom has a spiritual reason, even stubbing your toe on the table – again. Your body is the interpreter of the electrical impulses it is fed, when they do not have an outlet to be easily expressed, the biological system looks for other ways to get your attention – and that’s a whole science on it’s own, a fascinating journey into the inner wisdom available to us all.

Here’s the empowering part, you can learn to harness your emotional charge. Instead of letting your emotions control you, you can direct that energy toward your goals. You can transmute emotional energy into creativity, motivation, healing or – my favourite – occult work. The key is understanding how your emotions work, tuning into them, and using them consciously to fuel positive change.

Let’s wrap it up

Now that we’ve explored how energy leaks, fear, death, and emotional charge impact our lives, I want you to remember this: You are not at the mercy of your energy. You have the power to control it, direct it, and use it for your highest good. By becoming aware of where your energy is going and learning how to shift it, you can transform your life from the inside out.

So, take some time to reflect: Are there any energy leaks you need to address? What fears are guiding you, and what lessons do they hold? Can you reframe your relationship with death and see it as a powerful force for change? And finally, how can you harness your emotional charge for growth and healing?

If you start looking at life through this lens, you’ll see that everything is energy—and you have the power to shape it however you choose. Thanks for joining me today, and as always, stay empowered, stay conscious, and be the change you want to see in the world.
