Not all full moons illuminate joy. Some light up the grief we’ve buried in the bricks of our ambition. Some call us inward with a deafening silence. Some pull truth from the bones. This is one of those moons. Though it’s important to note, it’s not a breakdown (though it has the potential to feel that way) – It’s a breaking open.

The Full Moon in Capricorn on July 10th or 11th (depending on your location – also see the end of my article July 2025: Astrology, Transformation & New Beginnings), is not here to comfort but it is here to confront. Not for the sake of punishment or pain, this moon acts as a soul checkpoint, a mid-year reckoning point in a much larger energetic spiral. As I shared, this entire month is an initiatory gateway. The Capricorn Full Moon sits at its centre as the heavy pulse inside the unfolding.

Capricorn Moon Medicine: Sacred Structure Meets Soul Truth

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the great keeper of time, karma, and long-term foundations. Under a full moon in this sign, we are often brought face-to-face with what we’ve built and whether or not those structures still serve us. That might look like a career path, a role we’ve taken on in relationships, a belief about success, or the emotional scaffolding we’ve used to hold ourselves together.

This is where suppressed feelings about pressure, responsibility, and performance come flooding to the surface.

  • The strong one might break down.
  • The overachiever might suddenly feel empty.
  • The support system might realise they’re unsupported.
  • And the person who “has it all together” might not know who they are without the mask.

But here’s the deeper truth: that unravelling is liberation. This moon pulls the thread so you can feel what’s really underneath – not to destroy your structure, but to realign it with your soul’s truth.

A Lunar Echo of the Spiral Year

We’ve been building toward this moment all year. In The Arc of 2025 Timeline Alchemy, I spoke of this as a 9 year, the closing of a cycle that began in 2017. A year of endings, composting, and energetic audit. And July – particularly this Full Moon – is one of its most pivotal clearing gates.

We’re being asked to let go of who we’ve had to be in order to survive the Old World.

This moon reverberates with the deeper healing work explored in Witch Wounds & Sacred Fires and New Era of Consciousness. It shines a light on:

  • The inherited burdens we never chose but still carry.
  • The ancestral patterns of emotional suppression, especially in women, leaders, and healers.
  • The ways we’ve learned to earn love through usefulness.
  • The grief of becoming someone new without a clear identity to hold onto.

This is grief-as-transformation. This is release and sovereignty through surrender to your unfurling truth.

What This Moon May Stir in You

This Full Moon isn’t going to feel the same for everyone but here are some common threads to be mindful of:

  • Emotional eruptions seemingly “out of nowhere.” This could be triggered by something small but unlock something ancient.
  • Confrontations with authority figures or old stories around control, success, or failure.
  • Feeling unseen or unappreciated despite carrying immense weight.
  • Clarity about what no longer aligns with your inner values, even if it’s something you once fought hard to achieve.

If you feel pulled into self-doubt or collapse, remember: you’re not falling apart – you’re falling inward. Into truth. Into the quiet core of your becoming – and you are safe to do so.

Guidance for Navigating This Moon

  • Don’t force productivity. If your body wants to rest, that is the work.
  • Speak to your inner authority. Ask: What truth have I been avoiding to keep things stable?
  • Write a “release ledger.” List the emotional debts you’re no longer willing to pay. Burn it.
  • Cry without explaining. This is a Moon of unfiltered feeling. Let it be felt.

This moon will strip you of illusions. It will take the things you built to protect yourself and lay them bare. But not to shame you. To show you what’s underneath. And if you let it, it will help you begin the real work of reconstruction, not of the old model, but of the soul-aligned structure you’re finally ready to build.

Remember – we’re in this together…

This Full Moon may not come with the fireworks of clarity we long for, but it offers something far more sacred: a chance to hear yourself again beneath the noise. If you’re feeling raw, heavy, unsure – you’re not behind. You’re in rhythm. Capricorn teaches us that real growth is slow, often silent, and forged in the spaces where we pause long enough to actually feel what we’ve been carrying.

So give yourself that space. Journal what’s surfacing. Speak aloud the things you’ve buried. Ask yourself: Where have I been strong at the expense of being whole? Let that question echo until the answers rise. And if all you can do this Full Moon is rest, cry, or light a candle for your ancestors – that is enough. This moment isn’t about being fixed. It’s about being with yourself differently.

Thank you for being here, in this space, walking this spiral alongside me. If these words moved something in you, know they come from lived experience, not perfection. I don’t claim to have all the answers but I am devoted to creating spaces where we can meet ourselves more honestly. If you need guidance, ritual, or simply a reminder that you’re not alone, I’m here. And I’ll keep writing for you – because you’re not walking this path in isolation. You never were.

Blessed Be xo
